Privacy Notice
Mave Collection is a made-to-measure and ready-to-wear fashion business in Danfa, Accra. This notice explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or place an order, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, email info@mavecollections.com or message us on WhatsApp.
What we collect
- When you place an order: your name, phone number (we may use it for calls and WhatsApp), delivery address, the date you need your dress by, what you ordered, and any notes you write.
- For made-to-measure and custom orders: your body measurements and any style photos you upload.
- When you contact us: whatever you tell us in calls, messages or emails.
This website does not collect payment card or mobile money details.
Why we use it
We use your information to make, fit and deliver your order; to contact you to confirm it, arrange payment and delivery; to answer questions and handle fitting adjustments; and to keep records of our orders. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Our team can see your order. We also use a few service providers to run the website and handle orders:
- Supabase stores orders in a database and keeps style photos in private storage.
- Resend sends our team an email when an order arrives. The email contains the order details.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Google Fonts supplies the website's fonts, so your device contacts Google when the page loads.
- Cloudflare manages our domain and forwards email sent to our info@ address. Its Turnstile check also runs when you start an order, to confirm you are a person and not a program. It may process your IP address and details about your browser.
These providers handle information for us under their own terms. Some of them are outside Ghana, so your information may be stored or processed in other countries. If you reach us by WhatsApp, Snapchat, phone or email, those services' own policies also apply.
How long we keep it
We keep your order details, measurements and photos for as long as we need them to make and fit your order, to handle any adjustments or questions, and to keep our business records. After that we delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your measurements and photos sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also withdraw your permission for us to keep your measurements and photos, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@mavecollections.com or message us on WhatsApp and we will respond as soon as we can.
How we protect it
Orders are stored in a private database that only our team can open. Style photos are kept in private storage and our team opens them through links that expire. No system is completely secure, but we limit who can see your information and we keep access restricted.
On your device
To keep your cart, and an order form you have not finished, between visits, this website saves them in your browser's storage on your own device. This information stays on your device and is removed when you clear the site's data in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
The law
We aim to handle personal information in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
